(Projects goal was to track impact of global warming on the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, which runs from Bayonne to Edgewater via the George Washington Bridge).
Created a detailed and definitive map of the Walkway, which had been incomplete.
Used ARCDesktop to add multiple layers to map to show directions of the Walkway, using data from multiple sources.
Identified areas and buildings along the Walkway to track erosion and to project future trends.
Studied zoning permits issued by the DEP and short-listed buildings without the requisite permits.
Liaised with an engineering consultant firm that had independently mapped the region to validate findings.
