Two intern ships with Repsol May - Aug 2011 and May - Aug 2012
Geology intern working with Operations and Explorations
Worked with Winlog to map composite logs for wells and read data and information that comes from the field.
Worked with a team to go through exploration wells and study the history of the wells around a interesting drilling spot.
Map out the locations of the wells to the new well location. with listed problems that can come up drilling in the area.
Recorded pressure and temp data and looked for patterns of the data, and reference it back to formations that have already been named (Program use for pressure data is Bivius).
Explorations side work in Greenland offshore and Alaska onshore looking at seismic data and picking lines and adding in wells to the are.
Reading published papers of Alaska North Slope to apply paper information of the Geology to what was showing up in the seismic data.
Looking at it in 3D canvas to see a 3D view of the North Slope. With a Base map and then turning picked line into a Isopach map (Program all of this was in was Paradigm).
