We are currently seeking a resourceful and creative Application Developer for major role in the development of Hanley Wood's business intelligence projects.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Developer will assist in all phases of product development and be thoroughly involved in the architecture, design, planning and implementation of exciting new versions of the companys next generation web application suite. This position will also work with leading edge development tools and technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:
Active member of an agile software development team providing new features and functionality for existing product range as well as creating new applications for Hanley Woods suite of web based applications.
Deliver complex n-tier applications, design integrated solutions and be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documenting application development.
Analyze, design, code, test, and document enhancements to internal business applications and public websites according to functional specifications and requirements
Design and develop software using sound architectural principals that promote reuse and are extensible and easy to maintain.
Continually learn and expand personal software development expertise and apply this to the solutions implemented.

Skills & Qualifications : |
|
Strong working knowledge with .NET technologies (C# 4.0, ASP.NET, WCF, Silverlight, LINQ/EF)
Experience with .NET Libraries (ASP.NET MVC 3.0, Enterprise/Prism, WCF RIA Services) Experience with SQL Server 2008 with corresponding data modeling and database development expertise. T-SQL a must. SSIS/SSRS a huge plus.
GIS development (maps, polygons, spatial analysis, geo-coding) tools a plus.
Source Control (TFS, RedGate SQL Source Control)
3+ years of development experience with a software company with experience in all phases of the software development life. Enterprise level software development is considered a plus.
Experience working in an agile software development environment
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues.
Ability to leverage development expertise to translate business needs into effective and technically sound software implementations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
Position is located in the Costa Mesa, CA office.
